  4. RE: Yan,

    Thank you for your visit.
I try to buy as much as possible, but there is a limit to my paper bills. I already bought the capsule, this time I bought the right size. I am curious, how much does it cost to buy capsule in HK. As for my schedule for traveling to HK, I have no idea.

  7. RE: NLP,

Welcome to my blog, I just realize I bought the wrong capsule at the wrong price. Luckily my ex boss gave me discount, which is just half of the over charge price.

Now I have some capsule which I believe is 40mm (from Yan's blog) which I have no use, guess I have to buy some silver eagle.

Becareful, For Lighthouse, 40mm is NOT for American Silver (40.6mm) but for Britannia and Rwanda. I've some 40mm capsules (lighthouse) and American Eagle, will try and update you.

The chart is cropped from Airtite official website. But I don't have experience on Airtite as it is difficult to find in HK.

  9. Just tried. Lighthouse 40mm is not fitting for the American Eagle. But Air-tite 40mm does

Thank you for your help, I dont even know what kind of capsules I have. I only know it is the cheap stuff.

  11. Lighthouse 38mm is good fit for RCM coins. Beware about cheap stuff, might have some chemical reaction to your coins.

  12. RE: Yan

I forgot to ask what kind of brand the capsule was. Is there anyway I can see it on my capsules? I dont know if it is the cheap stuff or not.

  13. know only when it comes with the original packing.
That's why branded (lighthouse) 38mm capsule is always out of stock in HK.

Why do we pay more for capsules, especially for bullion coins?
    Bullion coins --> coin tubes

  14. kidthief, Lighthouse 41mm is for American eagle.

  15. Haha, as I said,
    "你依一排嘢好多人喉住!"
It's coming back again whenever the newer generation is to be released.

  16. You are right, the wolves are harder to come by (except at a higher premium).
I guess I will buy the new moose for now, or stock up on the grizzly/cougar/hockey until the wolf appears again

  17. Sorry, my wordings are confusing
"coming back again" means coming back for attention as people are finding the first generation of the series in order to complete a whole set for collection. RCM will not release a new batch for the wolf again.

how much is the shipping within US if Moose is bought from APMEX? Are you going to buy moose at APMEX, any other suggestion?

  18. Actually I am going to buy it from my LCS, its actually cheaper by about $1-2 before shipping

    ReplyDelete
  19. Is your LCS open to the public for those living in US? How much is the shipping?

    ReplyDelete
  20. It is open to public (local) no shipping, just walk in exchange fiat for gold/silver. No ID under $3k

  21. My friend is living in CA but she knows nothing about gold and silver. Do you happen to know any LCS in CA? I may ask her to buy some Moose for me but I need to give her clear instruction.

[I can see your messages left in my email but not in my blog 9999, something wrong with google blog again!]
