ReplyDeleteI have the yellow tube, but IMHO if you look carefully at the coins(at least for mine) the rim is actually damage or scratch. So have to buy the capsule for better protection, its not like I got a choice.
Milkspot is still the main problem for RCM coins. I have got a few coins recently found to have newly developed this problem even though I put them inside the capsules.
ReplyDeleteSilver Eagle might be a better choice for buillion coins.
I noticed that you have bought different brands of silver bars too. Will you consider resell value?
Same here newly developed milk spots... there is nothing we could do... but like what RCM said, its for bullion value?
ReplyDeleteIn HK Kitco since eagles and maples are the same price, you should go for the eagles. They sale at a premium everywhere else which I have no idea why...
I think when the SHTF silver numismatic/collector value if any would not be as significant as now, it will mainly be bullion value.
If silver is $100 +10-20% for bullion value. It is hard (at least for me) to imagine the timber wolf to be at $150.
But knowing the human mind, nothing is impossible.
When I buy silver I guess I was looking for bullion value, more than collector value. So when there is a shortage of silver the physical/bullion price got to go up. They are going to melt the silver, its not like I buy MS 68-70 coins.
